It is a must-do to board in Puerto Plata’s cable railway during your visit to the Dominican Republic. This particular transport has turned into a symbol of the city, because it is one of the most famous and visited places.

This cable railway ascends to Isabel de Torres Hill, an 800 metre-high hill in the south of Puerto Plata. During your journey you can enjoy impressive views of the city and its coast. In the top of the hill, you can find the lush botanical gardens, where you can go for a nice walk, moreover, Christ the Redeemer is also on the top of this hill.
