© Turismo RDThe charming salto Baiguate waterfall is a beautiful cascade located in a astonishing canyon and, although it is not as impressive as the Jimenoa waterfall, it is a beautiful place to spend a relaxing and refreshing day in Jarabacoa. This waterfall is named after the river that forms it, Baiguate river.
Access to the site is easy, since it is only about 3 km from the village. The waterfall is characterized by a ladder waterfall, so the most daring people can climb it and jump into the water from up there. Nonetheless, it should be noted that the climb is very dangerous, so it is recommended to take special care.
If, on the contrary, you want to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing bath, you can swim in the natural pool formed by the waterfall, which is surrounded by lush nature.
