Armando Bermúdez National Park has become a model for ecotourism both at a national and international level, since the park hosts one of the greatest biodiversities of La Española island.
His extensive savannah welcomes a wide range of native and wild species, among which the cedar, walnut, jutía and wild pig stand out; thus becoming one of the largest centres for research studies of the natural environment.
Among the various activities offered by Armando Bermúdez National Park you can find some as diverse as mule or horse riding, hiking along its vast and rugged tracks, and observing its fauna and flora from their viewpoints, among many other things.

In the vicinity of the park there is another great natural area of great importance, José del Carmen Rodríguez Park, where you can go for a short break thanks to its proximity.
