Enriquillo is a small village located in southwest Dominican Republic, in Barahona Peninsula, which is set deep in the Bahoruco Mountain Range.

It has a rough topography, thus the town was built in different leveled terraces. The flat lands in the south are used as crops and for stockbreeding.

Several farm products are produced in Enriquillo. These products are mainly used for Enriquillo’s inhabitants’ consumption, but a small part is delivered to other Dominican towns.

You cannot miss the incredible Caribbean beaches in Enriquillo: La Chorrera Beach and El Charco de Llena Velas. Sito River and its mountains are also a must.

Cultural activities such as concerts, plays, and lyrical singing usually take place in Enriquillo’s town park.
