© Omar Ferreras www.Omy-Fotografia.comEl Quemaíto is a beautiful beach that is located just 12 kilometres away from Barahona City. Even when its proximity to the city attracts lots of tourists it is a quiet and calm beach, which is quite representative of the nearby fishing city.
The beach is named after its main feature, since the sand, the stones and the water are warm (El Quemaíto means something like ‘the little scalded’ in Spanish); so, it is advisable to wear suitable footwear since the white stones, when warm by the sunlight, would burn and harm your feet.
Get deep into the clean and crystalline Dominican waters in El Quemaíto and enjoy the magnificent Caribbean Sea.
