Since its construction in 1956, during the dictatorship of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo and chaired by the General Direction of Fine Arts, its main goal has been the promotion of culture in the Dominican Republic.
With 13,000 square meters, this Neoclassical construction is used for the development of Fine Arts in all its categories (dance, music, theater, etc.). It houses the Theater of Fine Arts, the Folkloric National Ballet, the National School of Visual Arts, the National Chorus, the National School of Dances, the National Classic Ballet, the Drama School and the office of the National Symphony Orchestra.
Currently known as Freddy Beras Goico Palace of Fine Arts, it has an exhibition room for artistic and cultural events with 614 seats.
Come to visit the construction housing all the official institutions in charge of teaching arts.
